# How long does it take to get my Agentline NZ number?

**Short answer:** Your 028 number is set up within a few days of signup. Your email inbox works straight away. Full refund if your number hasn't arrived within 30 days of paying.

## What works while you wait

Your @agentline.nz inbox, the MCP connection and the REST API all work before the number arrives. Your agent can read and send email and use `wait_for_code` for codes sent by email.

Until the number is assigned, SMS tools and the API return `409 number_pending`. That's expected, and it clears once the number is assigned.

## How to tell when it's ready

Every Agentline NZ number is a NZ 028 business messaging number assigned to your account alone. Ask your agent "What's my Agentline NZ number?" or check your dashboard to see when yours is ready.
